It’s not often that we find ourselves at a loss for words when trying to describe a cabin…Great Smoky Lodge certainly has us looking for our thesaurus! What’s another word for Magnificent? For Stately? For Timeless? For pure unadulterated LUXURY?  We’ve looked it up – it’s GREAT SMOKY LODGE!

From the first moment you see this incredible 5 bedroom,  5 full bath cabin with it’s BIG LOGS and majestic Black Iron Gate, you’ll know this is no ordinary log cabin! Pull in and walk up on the spacious front deck with 2 rocking chairs with a small table, perfect for that first cup of coffee in the morning, or enjoying the last moments of a perfect Smoky Mountain day.

Once you open the door you’re sure to hear yourself saying “WOW!” as you take in the giant open room. The entry is guarded by two enormous log columns each with copper flashing and real rope trim. It will be hard to decide what to look at first, the incredible hardwood floors or the jaw dropping SPECTACULAR VIEW visible from the windows that are across the entire back side of the cabin. You’ll find stairs to your left, along with a hall table and a friendly little bear welcoming you home.

To the right you’ll find a state of the art, fully stocked, gourmet kitchen. The chef in your group will enjoy the black granite countertops, stainless steel appliances including Refrigerator with ice maker, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and more. There’s a freestanding island with stove top and 4 bar stools for extra seating.  To the far right you’ll dine surrounded by the view in the dining room. There’s a long beautiful wood table with plenty of seating. Behind the table is a door to the deck. On the deck you’ll find a wooden picnic table and an OUTDOOR stacked stone gas FIREPLACE.  Back inside you’ll find a den with cathedral ceilings and lots of windows overlooking the incredible view. There’s also a leather wrap around sleeper sofa and a karaoke machine for loads of fun! Right around the corner you’ll find yourself surprised at the sheer size of this house! You can’t see it from the front door, but there’s a full living room awaiting you. You’ll marvel at the 72” GIANT FLAT SCREEN MITSUBISHI HDTV with DVD/VCR, DirecTV with over 300 channels, movie channels and NFL SUNDAY TICKET!!! Next to the TV is a desk with WIRELESS HIGH SPEED INTERNET!  Also in the living room is a stacked stone gas fireplace and two sets of Leather Recliner Loveseats.  Wrapping up the Living Room is a full bathroom with a stand up shower.  Back on the deck you’ll enjoy views of Mt. LeConte, the Greenbriar Pinnacle and more while enjoying the 5 big log rockers and get a close up view with the Park Style Telescope!

Taking the stairs up you’ll notice the intricate rails and natural wood steps leading to the loft, with cathedral ceiling, and unique windows overlooking the view. Relax on the Chocolate Colored Queen Sleeper Sofa, or walk past an impressive log column to the dark cherry and leather poker table. Nearby there’s a boombox, books, and games. If you take a peak under the top of the poker table, you’ll find BUMPER POOL!

On each side of the loft is a MASTER SUITE. One features a giant hand carved KING log bed with matching nightstands and deer antler lamps, a brown loveseat that converts to a twin sleeper, a 20” Toshiba TV with built in DVD, and a private balcony. The bath features a Large JACUZZI tub, closet and shower. The  other master suite is huge, and offers a KING sized carved iron bed, a brown loveseat sleeper, 2 drawer armoire with 20” Toshiba TV with DVD and a private balcony.  The bath has beautiful tile, a vanity, and shower.

Travel downstairs to the bottom floor and prepare to be amazed! At the base of the stairs you’ll land in your own private ARCADE GAME ROOM! This funland has everything you could ask for! A leather and wood 8 foot professional POOL TABLE, Air Hockey, BOWL –A-RAMA Virtual Bowling Game, Arcade Legends Full Sized Video Game with 75 Classic Arcade games, and Back to Back CRUSIN’ EXOTICA driving race games. If that’s not enough there’s a wall mounted 44” PLASMA TV with DVD/VCR and PLAYSTATION 2!!! If you play ‘til you drop, the loveseat in the game room converts to a twin sleeper.

Just off the game room is a full bath with tub and shower. To the right of the Game Room you’ll find two bedrooms, one with 2 Queen over Queen Bunk Beds, a dresser, and a 20” Toshiba TV with DVD.  The other bedroom has a gorgeous “Bark-On” KING log bed with a chest of drawers, 20” Toshiba TV with DVD, and a private door to the lower deck! To the left of the Game Room is a hall leading to a GIGANTIC Master Suite, with walk-in closet, black iron KING bed, large dresser, and a distressed leather loveseat that converts to a sleeper sofa. The bath in this suite is large as well, with a corner JACUZZI tub and elegant separate shower. There is also a private exit to the deck that leads directly to the 57 jet, 7 seat HOT TUB! The hot tub has rotating lights and a build in CD/FM Radio! Soak away the cares of the day while enjoying the SPECTACULAR VIEW! The deck also features comfy double chair rockers for whiling away a beautiful afternoon in the smokies!
