Gatlinburg Cabins

Hidden in forested seclusion in the shadow of the legendary Greenbrier Pinnacle of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Misty Cove Lodge offers the true privacy and seclusion that
is so rare in today’s vacation homes. The vaulted big log architecture makes an impressive statement of gracious accommodations to guests who have just entered the private gate.

Just minutes from east Gatlinburg, Misty Cove Lodge promises privacy with a gated entrance to a huge paved parking and entrance way into the rear of the big log lodge. This is only the beginning of your experience at a very special big log lodge with an amazing sense of quiet serenity due to the forested absolute privacy, cloaked in the majesty of the Great smoky Mountains forest of tulip poplars, hemlocks, oaks, elms, beeches, birches, and glorious mountain laurels and ferns.

On the main rear covered deck, guests are first greeted with a huge 8 person hot tub bubbling on
the deck, followed by a double sized Chefs and Bakers Stainless gas grill . Two picnic tables
sit on the far end of this entrance deck and stand ready for perfectly secluded meals under the
protective deck cover.

Entering Misty Cove Lodge is rather dramatic, with a huge vaulted living room just ahead, the
grand staircase on the right, and the gorgeous dining table and kitchen on the left.

Four large leather and fabric sofas provide sumptuous seating in the living room, and entertainment is courtesy the 41 inch flat screen TV above the stone gas logs fireplace. The massive glass and log beam wall overlooks the pristine wilderness scene that is the hallmark of
this great and secluded vacation home.

The dining table is a 13 ½ foot by 5 foot dark oak table with 14 dark oak and iron seats. Additional seating for 4 is offered along the outer kitchen counter. Black Maytag appliances and
quartz counter tops make up the kitchen, which boasts voluminous cabinets for even the largest
parties. And for more outdoor dining, there’s the wrought iron table and chairs on the main deck, again with the perfectly pristine forest setting, and also covered from the weather.

The main floor bedroom across from the dining and kitchen areas has a king oak bed with 9 drawer chest, 2 lamp chests, walk in closet and a spacious shower tub bath. The 20 inch flat screen TV provides private entertainment.

Up the 4 foot wide grand staircase, a vaulted loft area in natural log and tongue in groove construction has 2 bunk beds, each with a twin bunk and a queen bunk. The north upper bedroom is an oak and leather ensemble with king bed, twin bed, 20 inch flat screen TV / DVD,
5 drawer chest, lamp chest, walk in closet and spacious shower tub bath.

The upper south bedroom is a mirror image of the north bedroom, including the spacious shower tub bath and walk in closet.

The lower level of Misty Cove Lodge is also gracious and accommodating. A large game room
dominates the center of the lower level, with an 89 inch playing surface tournament pool table, pub table and 4 rustic stools, and 20 inch flat screen TV / DVD. The stone gas log fireplace
adds warmth and atmosphere, and the two leather queen sleeper sofas add greatly to the comfortable seating for the game room and sleeping capacity for the lodge.

The lower level also contains a huge laundry area with top of the line Maytag appliances. What convenience for large groups and families!

The north lower bedroom is a beautiful dark English oak king bed ensemble with 2 lamp chests, 4 drawer armoire with 31 inch flat screen TV / DVD, walk in closet, and large shower bath with
a separate whirlpool tub in gorgeous tile work.

The south side lower bedroom is another dark oak king bed with 1 lamp chest, 5 drawer chest, large walk in closet, and a spacious shower tub bath.

The lower level also boasts a huge covered deck, with beautiful stone work on the lodge and
huge, “big log” pillars. Everything about Misty Cove Lodge is spacious and private and very, very special.
